If it has not come across yet, Christmas is my favorite holiday and December is my favorite months. I love Christmas lights and hot chocolate and decorations and winter clothing... even though I live in Florida where it's pretty much summer all year long. However, this article is about a craft I love doing.

This craft is making mini Christmas wreaths that are ornament sized. They're perfect to give as gifts or to personalize a friend's gift.

For this DIY you will need the following:

- Pipe cleaners

- Hot glue & a glue gun

- ribbon

- rhinestones

- felt

- puffy paint

- any other decorative material you wish

The easiest way to start this is to wrap a pipe cleaner around the base of a water bottle to create a circle. Then wrap the excess around the circle.

After you have your base, take your ribbon, and glue the end to the base. After that begin wrapping the ribbon around the base and build it up to your liking.

Once the base is as thick as you wish, it's time to start decorating. I find it easiest to place the strip of felt or fabric (where the name will go) down first the easiest.

Next I choose to put what will be the "hook" on the top, Make it a loop so the branch can go through it.

After the scrap of fabric is glue down, you can accessorize your base. I choose to put some rhinestones on top of the fabric's edges to secure down the name

Once you're happy with your ornament, you can write in puffy the name for who you are going to give it too.
